Police recovered 40,000 pieces of yaba pills from a public toilet at Karnaphuli Bridge area on Sunday night. Police also arrested one trader who was selling yaba from the toilet.
The arrested person is identified as Omar Faruk (22), son of Najir Ahmed of Moheshkhali in Cox’s Bazar. Sources said, a team of detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police raided the public toilet at Karnaphuli Bridge area and recovered 40,000 pieces of yaba from there.
Police also arrested Omar Faruk for selling yaba. Police said, the public toilet was used for yaba trading. After getting information in this connection, police raided the public toilet at Karnaphuli Bridge area.
