A case has been filed against 40 local leaders and activists of Swechchhasebak Dal, volunteer front of BNP, in connection with Wednesday’s clash between police and them in the district town.
Swechchhasebak Dal district convener Syed Julfiker Hossain Jewel is among the accused.
Sub-inspector Akhil of Kotwali Police Station filed the case against 14 identified leaders and activists of Swechchhasebak Dal and 25-30 unidentified men of the organisation with the police station on Thursday.
