Around 40 candidates will vie for each seat in the enrollment test of Chittagong University (CU) for the first year honours courses under the academic session 2020-21.
A total of 1,95,792 candidates have applied for the tests under four unites and two sub unites against 4,926 seats , said ICT cell director Mohammad Khairul Islam.
In the ‘A’ unit test, 70,207 candidates will contest for 1,212 seats while around 45,792 candidates will compete against 1,221 seats in ‘B’ unit admission test.
Around 14,272 applicants have applied to take part in the ‘C’ unit admission test with 441 seats available while around 57089 candidates will vie for 1,160 seats in ‘D’ unit.
3,415 candidates will vie for 215 seats in ‘ B-1’ unit test while 5,018 candidates will vie for 30 seats in ‘D-1’ unit test.
The admission test will start from June 22 and continue till July 1. Details of the tests can be found on www.cu.ac.bd
