A four-year old girl has been reportedly raped by a neighbour in the city’s Sabujbagh area.
The victim girl was admitted to the One-stop Crisis Center (OCC) of the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital on Sunday
morning for a checkup, said Quddus Fakir, Officer-in-Charge of Sabujbagh Police Station.
Salam, a neighbour, violated the girl when she was at home alone.
The parents came to know about the incident when the girl shared it with her mother, he said. The rapist was known to the victim’s family from before.
A case was filed in this connection with the police station, the OC said.
