The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four drug peddlers and recovered 1.23 lakh pieces of Yaba pills from the capital’s West Dhanmondi area on Wednesday night.
The accused were identified as Md Alam, 40, from Cox’s Bazar, Md Jasim Uddin Arman, 23, and Md Mizanur Rahman, 33, from Ukhia of Cox’s
Bazar, and Md Salauddin, 27, from Ramu of Cox’s Bazar.
RAB officials said that, a team of RAB-2 conducted a drive in the area and arrested the gang members, including its leader Md Alam along with 123,000 Yaba tablets.
