4 women return home after serving jail in India

Four Bangladeshi women returned home through Benapole check post on Wednesday night after serving three years’ jail in an Indian prison.
The returnees were identified as Monika Khatun, 16, daughter of Sabur Sheikh, hailing from Magura; Sumona Akhter 19, daughter of Awlad Hossain Talukder, hailing from Mymensingh; Reshma, 17, daughter of Azharul Mollah, hailing from Jessore; and Farida Khatun, 17, daughter of Akhter Hossain, hailing from Gaibandha.
Indian immigration police handed over them to Bangladeshi immigration police at night, said Mominur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Benapole immigration police.
Later immigration police handed them over to Benapole Port Police Station.
A team of Indian police had arrested them three years back from Indian border for entering India illegally.
Later they were sent to Kolkata central jail.
