A court here yesterday convicted four people and sentenced them to death for killing a man at Polaran village in Jianagar upazila in 2010 .
Sheuli Begum, 30, Asad Majhi, 30, Farid Ahmed Foni and Belal Gazi were convicted for the 2010 murder of Manik Majhi.
The court also fined them Tk 50,000 each.
According to the prosecution, Sheuli Begum was married to Manik Majhi
in 1995. At some point during the marriage, she fell into an extramarital relationship with Asad Majhi of the same village.
