Four teachers including headmaster of a high school at Nagarkandi area in Terokhada Upazila of Khulna district were beaten by the miscreants influencing allegedly by the president of the school managing committee on Sunday noon.
Sources said, five members of the managing committee of Shaptopally High School, located at Nagarkandi area in Terokhada upazila district, had given a ‘Distrust’ to the headmaster against the president of the managing committee Kazi Amzad Hossain on April 1,2017. Being informed the matter, Kazi Amzad Hossain went to the headmaster and wanted the copy of the ‘Distrust’. But the headmaster denied to give it and as such some miscreants being influenced allegedly by Amzad Hossain, rebuked inaudible language and beat mercilessly the headmaster Molla Siddikur Rahman and three other assistant teachers named Md. Sakir Hossain, Morad Ali Molla and Biswas Muzahidur Rahman.
The four teachers including the headmaster were injured severely and admitted in Mollahat upazila health complex.
A written allegation was filed with the concerned police station in connection with the incident.
Despite several attempts, this correspondent could not reach the managing committee president Kazi Amzad Hossain.
