An anti-adulteration mobile court in a drive on Monday night fined four shops Taka 1.4 lakh for manufacturing and selling forbidden polythene at city’s Reazuddin Bazar area.
Executive magistrate of Chittagong District Administration Abdullah Al Mamun along with Rapid Action Battalion and police officers conducted a drive at Reazuddin Bazar area under kotwali thana in the city. They also detained 4000 kilogram illegal polythene from the shops.
