Chittagong Bureau :
A mobile court in Chittagong fined four salt industries of Majirghat area in city for producing refined salt without the iodine component. Each factory fined with Tk.20 thousand each for this irregularities in producing the refined salt. Executive Magistrate of Chittagong district administration Sharmin Akhter led the mobile court.
The convicted salt factories are M/s. Seaside Salt industry, Popular salt Industry, Janani Salt Industry and Sumon Salt industry.
