4 nomination papers cancelled, 47 declared legal in Khulna

Four nominations papers out of 51 were cancelled by Khulna district Returning officer. Nomination deprived candidates may file appeal to the election commission within today.
The four candidates whose nomination papers were cancelled are Advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona, President of Khulna district unit BNP, who had submitted his nominations paper for Khulna-6 constituency, Ershaduzzaman Dollar, who had submitted nomination for Khulna-2 from Jatiya Party, Abdul Kader and Subrato Kumar Bayeen who had submitted nomination papers for Khulna-6 constituency as independent candidates. Returning office sources said, advocate shafiqul Alam Mona’s nomination was cancelled for loan defaulter (he was guarantor of a loan which was taken by a person of Dhaka) Ershaduzzaman Dollar’s proposed person was another constituency and as such his nomination was cancelled on the other hand, Abdul Kader and Subroto Kumar Gayen were cancelled due to sppoters’s complicacyes. A scrutinizing committee led by deputy commission (DC) Who is also the returning officer of Khulna district scrutinized the nomination papers and thereafter four nomination papers were cancelled and 47 were declared as legal ones.
The 47 candidates whose were declared as legal are Awami League backed Panchanan Biswas, BNP’s Amir Ezaz Khan, JP’s Sunil Shuvo Roy, Islami Andolon’s Maolana Md. Abu Sayed, worker’s party’s Gourango Proshad Roy, communist party Ashoke Kumar Sarker. Independent candidate Noni Gopal Mondal from Khulna-1 Constituency.
Sheikh Salauddin Jewel of Awami League, BNP’s Nazrul Islam Manju Islami Andoloans. Principal Md. Abdul Awal, Muslim League’s S.M Islam Ali, Gono Fronts Monira Begum, Zaker Party’s K.M Idris Ali Biltu, communist party’s S.M Sahadat and BNF’s S.M Sohag from Khulna-2 Constituency.
Begum Mannujan Sufian of Awami league, BNP’s Rakibul Islam Bakul and S.M Arifur Rahman Mitu, Islami Andalon’s Principle Mawlana Muzammel Haque, JSD’s AFM Mohasin, Zaker Party’s S.M Sabbir Hossain and Jonardon Dutta of Bangladesher Somaj Tantrik Dal from Khulna-3 Constituency.
Abdul Salam Murshedy of Awami League BNP’s Sharif Sha Kamal Taz and Azizul Bari Helal, islami Andolon’s Yunus Ahmed Sheikh, Biplobi Workers Party’s KM Alidad, BNF’s Major (retired) Sheikh Habibur Rahman, Khilafat Majlish’s Mawlana S.M Sakhawat Hossain, JP’s Hadiuzzaman and Zaker party’s ansar Ali from Khulna-4 constituency.
Naryan Chandra Chando of Awami league, BNP’s DR. Gazi Abdul Haque and Dr. Mamun Rahman, Jamaat’s Prof. Mia Golam Parwar, Islami Andolon’s Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, JP’s Md. Sahid Alom and CPB’s Citta Ranjan Golder from Khulna-5 Constituency.
Akteruzzaman Babu of Awami League, Jamat’s mawlana Abul Kalam Azad, JP’s Shafiqul Islam Modhu, JSD’s Awub Ali Kazi, Islami Andolon’s Gazi Nur Ahmed, Zakir Party’s Sheikh Mortoza Al Mamun, CPB’s Subash Chandra Saha and JP’s Mostofa Kamal from Khulna-6 constituency.
