The government has approved four new medical colleges to be set up at
Naogaon, Netrokona, Magura and Nilphamari. The fifth one will be established at Chandpur.
Health Minister Mohammad Nasim told it to the reporters in a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday.
Public medical colleges will be set up in every district of the country, the Health Minister added.
The Medicare in
Bangladesh has improved a lot. Nowadays overseas people also visit Bangladesh for better treatment.
State Minister for Health Zahid Malek, Health Education Department Secretary Sirajul Haque Khan, Health Services and Planning Division Secretary GM Saleh Uddin, Additional Secretary Kazi A M Mohiul Islam and Director General of Health Department Dr Abul Kalam Azad were present in the meeting.
