4 more killed in road crashes

At least four more persons were killed and several others injured in separate road crashes across the country on Sunday.
In Dhaka, a young man was killed when a bus rammed him on the Badda Link Road in the city.
The deceased was identified as Rashedul Islam, 30, a resident of Kashipur of Savar.

The youth sustained severe injuries when a passenger bus hit him on Badda Link Road at noon, said the SI.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty physician declared him dead.
The driver and helper were arrested and the bus was seized immediately after the accident, the SI said further.
In Chattogram, Two persons were killed when a private car, a microbus and a auto-rickshaw collided with one another in Panchlaish thana of Chattogram Metropolitan in the morning.
The deceased were identified as Md Fardin, 18, who boarded the car, and Md Hanif, the auto-rickshaw driver.
They sustained severe injuries in the accident near The King of Chattogram Club at night, Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Out Post Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukder told the media.
They were admitted to CMCH where they succumbed to injuries, he added. In Jhenaidah, a schoolboy named Rezwan was killed in a road accident at Bhaira under Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah.
The accident took place on Sunday (September 23) morning.
The teenager was the son of one Shahidul Islam and fourth-grade student at Lalpur Government Primary School.
Officer-in-Charge of Maheshpur Police Station Rashedul Alam confirmed the news of accident to media.
