Four more Chinese nationals working in a factory in Nilphamari EPZ tested positive for coronavirus.
The number of Covid-19 infected Chinese nationals in the EPZ has now risen to five as another had tested positive on 29 June. Civil Surgeon of Nilphamari Ranjit Kumar Barman confirmed the matter on Thursday night.
The samples of the four were tested in the PCR laboratory in Abdur Rahim Medical College in Dinajpur, and the results came back on Thursday night, Barman added.
All five are working at the Hong Kong-based toy factory Mazen BD Limited in the EPZ.
Earlier on 22 June, a Bangladeshi national was first detected as coronavirus positive in the factory.
