Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya and Railways Minister Mujibul Haque on Saturday joined a reception programme of meritorious students of Dr Mohammad Mansooruddin Women’s College at Kachua Upazila.
Finance Minister was the chief guest of the programme with Dr Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, MP, in the chair while other ministers attended it as special guests.
Emphasizing the importance of women education, the Finance Minister said, “Country’s development is not possible without women education and the government is working for increasing their rate by providing scholarship and stipend programs.
