The government has appointed new police commissioners to be posted in Chattogram, Gazipur, Barishal and Rangpur.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s additional commissioner Krishna Pad Roy has been chosen for Chattogram, and Dhaka Range office’s Deputy Inspector General Nure Alam Mina has been made Rangpur Metropolitan Police commissioner.
Naval Police’s Additional DIG Molla Nazrul Islam, and Chattogram Range’s additional DIG Md Saiful Islam have been appointed as the new commissioners of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, and Barishal Metropolitan Police respectively.
The Home Ministry on Thursday issued a notification appointing them to the respective positions.
