Four zonal phase matches of the Independence Day kabaddi competition were decided on the opening day (Wednesday) at Modhumoti zone in Narayanganj district.
In the day’s matches, Rajbari district beat Dhaka district by 24-22 points, Narayanganj district outplayed Faridpur district by 30-21 points, Magura district outclassed Munshiganj district by 39-20 points and Gopalganj district defeated Shariatpur district by 30-10 points.
