City Metropolitan police rescued four aspirant Malaysian fortune seekers from city area on Sunday night. In connection of trafficking of manpower illegeally, a broker in connection was rounded up .
The detained broker identified as Md. Helaluddin (27). The detained fortune seekers identified as Kowsar Ali, Ismail Hossain, Mazharul, and Ahad Molla. Police sources said these fortune seekers brought infront of rifle club in city aimed at destination to Teknaf for boarding the fishing boat with aim of sending to Malaysia..
Acting on secret information, police conducted raid in the area and managed to apprehend them. A case under man trafficking act lodged against the broker Helaluddin, Kotwali thana sources said.
