Four people were killed as a truck hit a private car at Moglabazar in South Surma upazila early Sunday. The deceased were identified as Dhrubo Jyoti Das, 36, a Pubali Bank official of Charkhai Branch in Bianibazar upazila, Adil Chowdhury, 34, Sanjib, 30, and Prokriti, 32, residents of Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district. Witnesses said the speeding truck hit the private car from behind while the car, carrying passengers, was going to Sylhet from Dhaka at about 5:00 am, leaving Dhrubo and Adil dead on the spot and two others injured. Sanjib and Prokriti died on way to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. Moglabazar police camp in-charge Khairul Bahar confirmed the accident. — Sylhet, Dec 27 (UNB)
