4 killed in road accidents

At least four persons, three in Kishoreganj and one in Sherpur, were killed in road accidents on Sunday. In Kishoregonj, two motorcyclists, who were schoolstudents, died under a bus on theKishoreganj-Bhairab Bazar highway on Sunday noon.
The deceased were identified as Saikat (15), son of Md. Helal Uddin at Parabangha village in Kishoreganj Sadar, Milon (15), son of Abu Bakker Miah from Pathankandi village of Kishoreganj district, and Shuvo (15), son of Md. Babul Miah from Jhatashira village. They were all students of class VIII.
A Kishoreganj bound bus ran over the motorbike around 1 pm and claimed the lives of Saikat and Milon on the spot, says our Kishoreganj Corespondent.
Shuvo succumbed to his injuries at Kishoreganj 250 Bed General Hospital.
Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Abu Bakkar Siddique confirmed the news to the New Nation.
In Sherpur, a man was killed in an accident at Kalibari in Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur district yesterday..
The deceased was identified as Intazuddin (45), son of late Rahim Uddin from Ghatpara of Nalitabari upazila, reports our Sherpur Correspondent.
Police and local sources said that at about 11.00 am Intaz uddin was going to Sherpur by easy bike. When the bike reached Kalibari, the driver of the bike lost its control on the steering and ran over Intaz uddin, who breathed his last instantly.
Police recovered the body. Officer-in-charge of Jhenaigati thana Biplob Kumar Biswas confirmed the accident.
