4 killed in 3 days in Sherpur

Four people with a child were killed in separate accidents in last three days ending Friday in Sherpur district
Among the deceased Md Saidur Rahman Fozu (58), son of late Mokbul Hossain at Ramerkura village in Jhenaihati upazila of Sherpur district was killed by the attack of axe of his wife on Wednesday morning.
Police and sources said, Saidur Rahman Fozu and his wife Asma Begum were engaged in familial conflict for a long time. On that morning Fozu was sleeping in his room and his wife Asma started chopping Fazu recklessly. At this Fozu wounded seriously and people took him hurriedly to hospital and doctor on duty declared him dead. A case was filed in this connection in Jhenaigati Jhana.
Another deceased electric line man Md Chan Mia(25), son of Abdul Barik at Mothuradi area in Sreebordi upazila under the district. Chan Mia was electrocuted on Monday when he went to repair Ahalu rice mill’s electric wire. He was taken to Mymensing Medical College and Hospital and doctors declared him dead.
In another road accident a child named Ornab(09) was killed by a face to face motor cycle collision at Chitholia village in Sreebordi upazila of the district On Eid Day. On Eid Day after prayer Ornab with his brother was going to his native home from his grandmother home and met the accident.
Besides, Jahmuddin(51) son of late Golap Hossain at Dhonakusa village in Nakla upazila under the district died by electrocution on Thursday. Jahmuddin was cutting branches a mango tree and was wrapped with electric wire. He was taken to Nalitabari upazila health complex and doctor on duty declared him dead.
