4 killed in 24 hours in Jhenaidah incidents

Four persons were killed in separate incidents in Jhenaidah between Sunday and Monday afternoon. Separate cases were lodged with respective police stations, police said.
Sailkupa police station attending sub inspector Maniruzzaman said, they have recovered the body of Sanjoy Saha, 15, son of Narayan Chandra Saha of Lalit Bhuiyanpara in Sailkupa town on Monday afternoon.
Police said, Sanjoy left the house on Friday morning saying he was marching towards local town and did not come back. Later his body was recovered from the mud of a nearby pond at about 4.00 PM.
Police in Kaliganj recovered the body of an unknown man aged about 45 from a garden near Balidapara area of Mobarakganj sugar mills on Sunday afternoon. There was a number of injury mark on the the body, the police said.
A house wife was killed when her scarf was rolled with the wheels of an easy bike near Paglanai road in Jhenaidah town on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Subarna Khatun, 35, of Sako village of Kaliganj upazila.
Jhenaidah fire service station officer Dilip Kumar said, the fire fighters and locals rushed Subarna Khatun to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital where the attending physicians declared her dead.
In another incident Jasid Hossain, 23, of Jhenaidah town was killed when a Jessore bound truck crushed him near Raghunathpur on Kaliganj-Jessore highway on Sunday afternoon.
