Three persons including a minor killed in the port city on Friday in separate road mishaps. Police sources s aid two persons including a driver were killed and another 4 injured at cement crossing in the city on Friday evening following the break failure of a private car . The killed identified as Md. Shahidul Islam(50) and Md.Javed(42) .
The injured are- Mukta, Nasir, Hashem and Rafi. The critically injured persons immediately admitted to Chittagong medical collge hospital for treatment, hospital police camp sorces said. Meanwhile a minor was crushed under the wheel of a speedy truck on Oxygen-Kuwaish road in city at evening of Friday.
The minor identified as Md.Hossain(3) and the injurd are Parvin, Lukcy and Sakib.
The injured were sent to CMCH immediately by the local , sources said . The killer truck was detained by Chandgaon police. Officer incharges of EPZ thana and Chandgaon thana confirmed the matters of accidents to this reporter while contacted.
BSS from Rangamati adds: A youth was killed and three others were injured in a road accident in Kalabagan area on the Rangamati-Chittagong highway here on Friday. The deceased was Abdul Khalekh, 27, son of Mohammad Miah of Purba Charandip area under Boalkhali thana in Chittagong district.
Police said the accident occurred when a bus collided head-on with a CNG run auto rickshaw in the area, leaving CNG passenger Khalekh dead on the spot and three others critically injured.
The injured were sent to Ranganati Sadar Hospital.
