A mobile court here on Tuesday afternoon fined four minor boys Tk 2,000 each for catching hilsa fish at Rajarajeshwar of Sadar upazila in the Padma river defying the ongoing ban.
A mobile court led by executive magistrate Farjana Alam arrested the four minors, aged between 12 and 14 years, while they were netting fish in the Padma river around 2pm and fined them Tk 2,000 each.
Later, the mobile court released the boys on bond under the custody of Rajarajeshwar union parishad chairman Hazrat Ali.
