Detectives arrested four suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from a madrasah in Raiganj upazila early Tuesday.
The arrestees were identified as: Abu Bakar Siddiki,49, son of Ehsab Uddin, a resident of Gandail village in Kazipur
upazila, and Joynal Abedin,55, son of Jasim Uddin, a resident of Erandah village in Raiganj upazila, and his two sons-Borhan Uddin,28, and Imran Ali,26. Superintendent of Police Miraz Uddin said a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a raid on Jamiatul Quran Cadet Madrasah under Salanga thana in Raiganj upazila and arrested them at about 5.00am.
