Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested four suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Dakhshin Sahar area in Sadar upazila on Monday night.
The arrestees are: Abdul Kader, 30, Aminul Islam, 30, Abdur Rahman, 39, and Aktarul Islam, 46, hailing from Shibganj upazila.
Being tipped-off, a team of the elite force in a drive arrested four JMB men along with a pistol, five round bullets, a magazine, 400gm gunpowder and bomb-making elements, said a RAB-5 press release.
In primary interrogation, the detainees confessed to their involvement with militant activities, said the release.
