Four activists of the Jamaat were arrested from in Moheshpur in Jhenidah for their alleged involvement in damaging the sculpture of liberation movement, attack on police men, and violence during national polls and making barricade in running government activities on Monday. Moheshpur police station officer in charge (OC) Akram Hossain said, they had arrested the four including the political secretary of the Jamaat Moheshpur upazila unit Nasir Uddin. They were wanted in a number of cases. The arrested were sent to jail-hazat, OC added.
