Police arrested four individuals including a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader for their involvement in selling banned drug Yaba in the city’s Sheikhpara area on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Jewel Hassan Arman, district unit Chhatra League vice-president was expelled from his organization within hours of the other three getting caught. in the evening at 6:10 pm, said Imran Hossain Imu, general secretary of district BCL unit. said police arrested Sunny and Tushar with 38 pieces of contraband yaba pills. According to their information, police arrested the Arman and Hossain with 12 pieces of yaba pills. A case was filed with the police station against them under Narcotic Control Act, the OC added.
