A team of the Rapid Action Battalion detained four suspected human traffickers and recovered 900 passports and five mobile phone sets from the city’s Banani area early Wednesday.
The arrested persons have been identified as Murad, 52, hailing from Tangail, Rashed Hasan Jwel, 38, Rafiqul Islam and
 Salam, 38, inhabitants of Dhaka, RAB official said.
“The RAB-2 team raided the office of Minar International, a traveling agency, in the city’s Banani around 4:00am and arrested them from the office,” said, RAB’s Additional Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman Munshi. They also recovered four attested seals, two visa forms, 17 medical reports, and Tk 16,100 in cash from their possession. The arrested persons were being interrogated in this connection, he said. A case has been filed with Banani Police Station in this connection, he said.
