Chittagong Bureau :
An employee of Govt Housing department in Chittagong lodged a corruption case against four employees before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Chittagong. Stengrapher of the concerned department Md. Badruduzza filed the case as plaintiff on Tuesday. The alleged accused in the case are- office assistant Khokan Chandra, MLSS Khalilur Rahman and Azizul Hoque Bhuyia of District primary education office. Advocate of the plaintiff Advocate Jubairul Hoque told that the case was filed under section 467, 458, 420 and 471 under anticorruption act of 1947.
The court took the case in cognizance and asked Deputy Police commissioner of Dectective Branch, Chittagong for submitting report by 15 days . Counsel of the plaintiff said that his client has been allotted govt quarter (F-3 A/16) by govt estate departmet in 2009, but the office staff of Primary Education office Azizul Hoque did not vacate the quarter despite his transfer to Sandwip upazila 5 years ago.
