Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) in a raid arrested four persons including two sibling with 2300 pieces of Yaba tablets from the city’s Kolpholoke residential area in the early hours yesterday.
The arrested were identified as two sibling Joynal Abdin Janu,22, Abu Talab, 23, and their accomplice Mohammad Idris,25 and Nurul Amin,29. Police also detained a truck from their possession.
Bakalia thana police on secret information raided a truck coming from Cox’s Bazar at Kalpholoke residential area under Bakalia thana at around 2.30 am early on Tuesday.
They arrested Joynal, Abu Talab, Nurul Amin and Idris with 2300 pieces of Yaba tablets, said Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-Charge of Bakalia police station.
A case was filed in this connection.
