Police rounded up four drug peddlers from Animal husbandry hospital area infront of court building under Kotwali thana on Saturday
police recovered about 200 liters of locally made wine (cholai madh) from their possession. The were on board of a CNG taxi. Police detained the taxi also. The detained drug traffickers are Dhirendra Chandra, Wahidur Rahman, Golam mowla and Altaf Ali( taxi driver). Detective police of CMP sources said suspecting the movement of the taxi, police on duty obstructed them infront of the hospital and caught them red handed while they were tyring to flee.
After searching the taxi, these wine filled in containers recovered.
