4 held over SSC question paper leak

Detectives on Tuesday claimed to have arrested four fraudsters on charge of their involvement with the question paper leak of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
The arrested men are: Mohammad Abdullah Fahim, 20,
Mohammad Shamim Ahmed, 19, Mohammad Nobin Ali, 22, and Sohel Rana, 17.
Of them, Fahim, Shamim and Sohel were involved in question paper leak since 2018.
A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested the four from in front of Hotel Jonaki in Fakirerpool area of Dhaka on Tuesday, said Deputy Commissioner of DB (North) Mashiur Rahman .
While monitoring social media network, Deputy Commissioner Mashiur Rahman said that the officials had information that a group of people involved with 2019 SSC question paper leak would all assemble in Dhaka.
Acting on this information, detectives conducted the drive and arrested the four, recovered laptop and mobile phones from their possession, the DB official said.
DB Additional Commissioner Md Abdul Baten said that improve the gang members opened a Facebook group and assured the examinees to their SSC results in exchange of money.
The gang have already taken Tk 15,000-Tk 30,000 from each student.
