Police arrested four people in connection with the rape of a woman in Dhaka’s Savar.
The arrests were made during a raid at a house in Savar municipality area on Friday morning, our correspondent reports. The arrestees are Md Rubel Ahmmed (40), Md Firoz Talukder (36), Md Sumon Hossain (24) and his wife Nilufa Akhter (21).
According to the written complaint, two people along with Rubel and Firoz entered the woman’s flat, raped her and threatened her against disclosing the matter on Thursday noon.
Police is continuing their drive to arrest the two unidentified persons, Inspector Saiful said.
