A court here on Wednesday afternoon sentenced four persons to suffer life term imprisonment for trading drugs on September 19, 2012.
Additional district and session judge Rohibul Islam pronounced the judgment in his crowded courtroom.
The court also fined them Taka 10,000 each, in default, to suffer one year more in jail.
The convicts were Tapu Raihan, son of Lokman Hossain of Gochar village, Golam Mustafa, son of Abdul Hakim of Charsingra village, Dukhu Miah, son of Khoka Miah of Charsingra village under Bagha upazila in Rajshahi district and Ramjan Ali, son of late Moinul Islam of Godagari in Rajshahi district.
