Detective branch of Barisal Metropolitan Police on Thursday afternoon arrested four frauds of a cheating gang for primary teacher’s recruitment from a house at Jhawtala area of the city.
The primary teachers recruiting examination scheduled to be held on Friday including 25 centers of the city and a total 21,363 were enlisted as examinee here.
The arrested four cheaters were identified as Liton Chakraborty of Kawnia area of Barisal city, Aziz Rari of Uzirpur upazila under Barisal district, Ainal Haque of Mohipur and Md. Yunus of Kalapara upazila of Patuakhali district.
Police also succeeded to recover a laptop computer, 4 printers, 1 router, modem, mobile phone, pen drive, and seat-plan of examination centers with names and copies of registration cards, model-answer papers and cash Tk. 1 lakh from the arrestees.
