A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a series of anti-adulteration drive here on Friday fined four food producing factories with TK 26 lakh for producing foods in unhygienic environment mixing with harmful ammonia chemical.
Executive magistrate of RAB Mohammad Sarwar Alam along with the officials of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 conducted a drive at the factory of Bonoful and Company at Pachuria area under Patiya thana and fined a Banoful Company TK 15 lakh for producing foods and Biscuits using harmful Ammonia.
Earlier, the same mobile court conducted a drive at the factory of Hossain Foods and Company Limited at Charchaktai area and fined the industries TK eight lakh for producing and selling adulterated foods. Conducting similar drives, the court also fined Moshen Awalia Oil Mills and Shofi Oil Mills TK three lakh for producing foods edible oils in unhygnic conditions.
