At Hajaribagh, the fire broke out at the Karim Leather and Washing Plant at about 2:35 pm. On information, seven engines of the Fire Service rushed to the spot and extinguished the flame after hectic efforts in one and a half hours.
None was reported injured in the incident, the sources said. The loss caused by the fire could not be known immediately
At Dhanmondi, fire broke out on the 2nd floor of the Archeda Plaza, a six-storied building. Fire services sources said that its four units doused the blaze at about 3pm. The cause of the fire could not be known.
At Mokimbazar of Bongshal, a warehouse of motor parts caught fire at around 2pm. The FSCD Mobilising officer said, almost the entire warehouse had been damaged in the fire.
