UNB, Dhaka :
Ambassadors designate of Belgium and Bulgaria to Bangladesh and High Commissioners designate of Botswana and Lesotho to Bangladesh separately presented their credentials to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Monday.
The all non-resident envoys are Jan Luykx of Belgium, Petko Kolev Doykov of Bulgaria, Lesego Ethel Motsumi of Botswana and Bothata Tsikoane of Lesotho.
Welcoming the foreign envoys to Bangabhaban, the President said there are tremendous potential and a wide scope for further developing meaningful collaborative relations between Bangladesh and those countries, President’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.
Abdul Hamid assured all-out cooperation to the ambassadors and the high commissioners in discharging their assignments in Bangladesh. The envoys told the President that they would work to enhance bilateral co-operation with Bangladesh.
Secretaries concerned to the President were present. Earlier, on their arrival at the presidential palace, the envoys were given guard of honour separately by a contingent of the President’s Guard Regiment.
