A four-day Thai trade show begun on Monday aiming to build relation, especially in trade, between the people of Bangladesh and Thailand.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed inaugurated the trade show as the chief guest titled “Thailand Week 2018” by cutting the ribbon at 11 am this morning at Sonargaon hotel in the city.
Ministry of Commerce, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Royal Thai Government and Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka are jointly hosting the event that will continue till April 26.
About 45 Thai companies and 27 Bangladeshi companies which are either importers or agents of Thai products are taking part in the trade exhibition.
