A four daylong ”Chitagong REHAB Fair-2016 begins in the port city from Thursday at Mejban Hall of Hotel Radison Blu. This is the 9th fair of its kind in the port city.
City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin formally inaugurated the fair at Mohona Ball Room of Hotel Radison Blue as chief guest. President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mahbubul Alam, Additional Police commissioner Debratha Bhattachariya graced the inaugural session as special guests.
Presidemt of REHAB Md. Alamgir Shamsul Alamin presided the inaugural session of the fair. Senior vice president of REHAB Rabiul Hoque, vice President Md Wahiduzzaman and the Chairman of Chittagong regional committee Engr. SM Abu Sufian also spoke on the occasion.
The chief guest in his inaugural speech committed to allot City Corporation’s land to establish a specialized Real Estate Development Institute aimed at creating skilled manpower in this sector of real estate development in the country. He said Chittagong City Corporation will provide all assistance in building the skilled manpower in real estate sector so as to fulfill the local demands as well as to export manpower abroad.
The fair will remain open for all from 10 am to 9 pm everyday and entry ticket fixed Tk.50 and Tk.100 for single and multiple entry.
The raffle draw on everyday’s entry ticket will be held before end of the day’s event. Drawing competition for children will be also held on 2nd day of the fair. 92 stalls of real estate developers and building construction material manufacturers will installed in the fair. . Sources said 18 developer companies are sponsoring the fair as co-sponsors.
