Staff Reporter :Police in a drive detained four dacoits in city’s Rampura area early Sunday.The detained persons were identified as Masum alias Baitta Masum (25), Shah Alam alias Rod Shah Alam (26), Arman (22) and Rubel (23).They also seized two oreign-made pistols, four rounds of bullets and three machetes from their possession, said Mohammad Mahbub, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rampura Police Station.The OC said that police said that a team of Police conducted a drive in the East Rampura areafollowing a secret information and arrested the four members of a robber gang.The arrested persons are being interrogated in this question, the police official said. A case was filed in this connection, he said.
