Four policemen of Rajshahi Court were closed to the Police Line on Sunday night over the escape of a drug case accused from police custody.
The suspended policemen include two trainee sub-inspectors and two constables.
Matiar Rahman, officer-in-charge of the Detective Branch (DB) of Rajshahi police, said a team of the law enforcers arrested Moklesur Rahman along with Yaba from Jangalpara village in Poba upazila on Saturday night.
A case was filed against him with Poba Police Station.
However, the accused fled from the custody while he was being sent to the court on Sunday afternoon.
