One child died of taking marble while he was playing with marbles at Roumari upazila in Kurigram at Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Jobaer 2 of village Danguarpara under the upazila.Local sources said they child was playing with some marbles. Suddenly he took a marble and when the marble reached in the bally he became very sick and was immediately taken to Raumari upazila Health Complex in a critical condition where the attending doctors declared him dead.Dr. Arup Kumar Roy doctor of the health complex said the marble obstructed his respiratory system and died.Chairman of Shoulmari union Habibur Rahman admitted the incident.
Another reports adds: One child was drowned in flood water at Roumari upazila in Kurigram on Tuesday evening
The deceased was identified as Faria 2 son of Jahangir Alam of village Ichakuri under Roumari Sadar upazila. Roumari Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the incident.
Roumari Sadar union council chairman Shahidul Islam Salu said the child Faria went to nearby flood water and fall into water. Local people recovered the body and immediately taken to Roumari upazila Health Complex where the attending doctors declared him dead.
Jessore Correspondent adds: Afia Khatun, student of class -V and her brother Abdus Salam, student of class- I of a local primary school and children of Rezwan Khan of the village, died from snake bites at Hariaghope village under Keshabpur upazila in Jessore early Tuesday.
Shahidul Islam, officer in-charge, Keshabpur police station confirmed the information to journalists. But he could not be able to give details about the incident.
Locals told that the two were taken to a local clinic after snakebites at dead night while they went fast asleep.
Afia died there at around 8am and her brother died on way to Khulna later.
