In separate incidents police recovered four bodies from Brahmanbaria, Sylhet and Rajshahi districts on Friday.
In Brahmanbaria, Police recovered the body of a man from Kharampur area of the Akhaura municipality in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Alam, 42, son of Abdul Barek, a resident of Hatgoan village of Sonaimuri upazila in Noakhali district.
Locals spotted his body in a field of the area in the morning and informed police, said Mofiz Uddin, officer-in-charge of Akhaura Police Station. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
In Ashuganj upazila, police recovered the hanging body of a man from Chorchartola area around 10:30am.
The deceased was identified as Khayesh Miah, 35, son of Akhter Hossain, a resident of Khudro Bharmonbaria village. Mohammad Nazrul Islam, sub-inspector of Ashuganj Police Station, said family members spotted his hanging body on the veranda of his house.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Brahmanbaria sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
In Rajshahi, Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from the residential area of Rajshahi University (RU) teacher’s in Paschimpara
area on the campus in the morning. RU proctor Prof Tariqul Hasan said the guard of the area spotted the body behind a residential building of the area around 10am and informed police. The man might have died from electrocution while stealing electric wire from the area, added the proctor.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Motihar Police Station confirmed the incident. In Sylhet, police recovered the body of an unidentified young man beside a madrasa in Boroikandi union of Dakshin Surma upazila in the afternoon. Locals spotted the body in the area around 3pm. On information, police recovered the body.
