Meghna trawler capsize: 4 bodies found after four days

The bodies of four people, who went missing in the trawler capsize in the Meghna River on Tuesday, were recovered from the river in Haimchar upazila on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Aleya Begum, 35, wife of Salahuddin of Char Bhanga village in the upazila, their daughter Swarna,
4, Fahim, 2, son of Jamal Uddin of Charbhairabi in the same upazila, and Manik, 4, son of Mostafa Mridha of Kuchchapara village in Raipur upazila of Laxmipur district.
A team of river police recovered the body of Fahim from the Meghna River, eight kilometres off the accident spot, around 10am while a joint rescue team of river police, Bangladesh Coast Guard and Navy divers recovered the body of Manik from inside the sunken trawler around 3:30pm, said Haimchar upazila nirbahi officer SM Sarwar Kamal.
