From now on, Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd will operate four flights on its Dhaka-London-Dhaka route every week.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon inaugurated the fourth flight on the route at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday.
Fight ‘BG 001’ of the national flag carrier will take
off from Dhaka for London at 11am on Saturday, Sunday, Friday and Wednesday and reach London at 4:05pm local time on the days.
The return flight will take off from London at 6:15pm local time on the scheduled days and will reach Dhaka via Sylhet at 12pm the following days (Bangladesh time).
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been operating regular flights on the Dhaka-London-Dhaka route since 1972.
