The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday placed four members of the banned militant outfit Ansar-Al-Islam on a seven-day remand each.
Magistrate Masud-Ur-Rahman of the CMM Court passed the order on Sunday.
The convicts are Jasimul Islam alias Jack, Abdul Mukit, Aminul Haque and Sajib Ikhtiar.
Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested the alleged militants from Basila of the capital on Saturday night.
