Four local Awami League men were injured in a bomb attack by their rivals at Churamonkati in Sadar upazila on Friday night.
The injured were identified as Munna, vice-president of Churamonkati union unit of Awami League, and its three activists Russel, Nanu and Manowar.
Enayet, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station, said Munna had been at loggerheads with ruling party activist Shukkur Member over the ownership of a fish enclosure.
As a sequel of the enmity, an altercation ensued between the supporters of Munna and Shukkur at Churamonkati Bazar around 8:15pm on Friday.
