4 Adamya BD Foundation men granted bail

A Dhaka court granted bail to four employees of non-government organization, Adamya Bangladesh Foundation on Monday afternoon. They have been arrested allegedly for their involvement in human trafficking.
Magistrate Md Yusuf Hasan of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka granted bail in response to a petition filed by their counsel Barrister Bibhuti Tarafdar.
Earler, on September 12, accused Arifur alias Arian Arif, Zakia Sultana, Hasibul Islam Sabuj and Firoz Alam Khan Shuvo were arrested
on suspicion of human trafficking. In the same drive, police rescued ten children from a flat in Banasree area of the city. The following day, a court placed the four accused on a two-day remand each for police interrogation.
The rescued children are between the ages of nine and 14. The accused have claimed that they have picked them up from the streets of the capital through close observation by the activists of the organisation. It has been learnt that the organisation runs two schools for street children in Sadarghat and Agargaon areas named “Mojar Iskul” and “Pothoshishu O Amra.”
